The BCS Valveless Cat-back PRESTIGE exhaust is our OEM + option for the VW Golf GTi Mk5 2.0 TFSi, providing you with a moderately uplifted sound over and above the stock exhaust note creating a genuine audible upgrade for your GTi, and yet still providing you with all of the benefits of a full 76mm diameter performance exhaust system.
The system has been carefully designed to ensure that any unwanted in-car frequencies have been removed, leaving you with a perfect drone-free experience, together with our characterful pop and burble, free-revving sound.
The primary use for the Prestige variant system is a public road or track.
As with virtually all of the TFSi-engined vehicles, there is very little performance gain to be had from the cat-back system on its own, due to the incredibly restrictive downpipe and twin OEM cats.
If you require more power from your GTi we recommend the 76mm (up to 400 bhp) or 90mm (400 bhp+) downpipe to go with this system.
Please note that our system is designed to fit a genuine VW Golf R32 rear valance with 200mm hole centers.
If you have an aftermarket rear valance with 215mm centers then please notify us so that we can amend the pipework to allow it to fit.

As the original rubber mount for the centre silencer is prone to wear in regards to its ability to support and prevent excessive movement, we recommend its replacement with the upgraded VW rubber as shown below.
Please note that our system includes a front section which joins the OEM cat closer to the engine than other brands. You will, therefore, need to cut your downpipe just after the cat to enable our system to fit as can be seen in the images.
