Due to the uniqueness of our products and the way in which they are manufactured, there may at times be a production delay of up to 4 weeks from the initial purchase date.

If you would prefer to pay a deposit at this stage please contact us for details on how to arrange that as an alternative, with the balance payable on the shipping date.

The BCS Powervalve road legal 100/200 cell cat is the ideal hardware upgrade when considering a power increase on the 2.0 TFSi engine. In addition, you will notice an audible uplift in the sound producing a nice sporty tone in the vehicle under acceleration.

The BCS Powervalve downpipe and 100/200 cell cat come with a connecting pipe to allow you to connect to the OEM cat-back system with the minimum of fuss. If you decide to upgrade to the full turbo-back system at a later stage then the connecting pipe simply swaps out again to allow the installation with a minimum of fuss.

The dimensions employed on our unique cat will allow a gas flow equivalent to a cat delete pipe whilst remaining completely MOT and road legal.

The primary use for the BCS Powervalve 100/200 cell cat is a public road or track.

As with virtually all of the TFSi engined vehicles, there is very little performance gain to be had from the cat-back system on its own, due to the incredibly restrictive downpipe and twin OEM cats. However, by opting for our unique down pipe and high flow cat the power potential will massively increase, firstly with an initial 22bhp kinetic, and then once mapped all the way up to a stage 3 the following figures are achievable (along with suitable additional hardware...)

The TFSi K04-based BYD BWJ BHZ CDL Performance guide

  • Stage 2  custom remap                                                  340 hp        340 lbft
  • Stage 2+ custom remap                                                 380 hp        400 lbft
  • Stage 3 k04 0r k03 hybrid custom remap                     550 hp        550 lbft

(all Performance figures are based on levels achieved by R-Tech Performance)

If you require more power from your Golf R Mk6 we recommend the 76mm (up to 400 bhp) or 90mm (400 bhp+) downpipe to go with this system.

The images below show the comparison between the 76mm and 90mm down pipe options we offer.

Please call for details...

We also recommend that the Powerflex up-rated dog-bone mount is selected when purchasing the full turbo-back system. This will decrease the amount of stress on your downpipe once the car's torque has been increased after re-mapping.

We recommend a new turbo to front pipe gasket when performing the install although this is not essential.

The fitting time for this product is 2 hours
